JUDGMENT

Upon the claimant failing to attend the hearing, his claim is dismissed under rule 47 of the Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2024.

REASONS

[1]The claim was presented in the Watford Employment Tribunal on 16 January 2024. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. Neither party attended the remote hearing on 13 February 2025 or provided any explanation for the non-attendance. The claimant failed to respond to the correspondence from the Tribunal dated 7 November 2024 requesting further information. Within that correspondence, the claimant was informed that the Employment Judge was unable to consider the claim without the provision of further information as the claim was not quantified, the nature of which was specified in writing. None of that information has been provided. Also on 7 November 2024, parties were notified of the hearing by video link on 13 February 2025 at 14:00. That letter went unacknowledged. The CVP remote hearing link was sent to parties on 12 February 2025 at 15:20. No response was received. No evidence has been received, and the claim form fails adequately to explain how much the claimant is claiming or how any figures have been calculated.[2]In the above circumstances and having regard to the overriding objective and the provisions within Rule 47 of The Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024, I have dismissed the claim.
