JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]Claims 3300573/2024, 3300574/2024, 3300581/2024 & 3300582/2024 are consolidated.[2]In each claim the respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[3]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the wages of the first claimant (Mrs N J Vokes) and must pay the first claimant £1,025.44 gross.[4]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the wages of the second claimant (Mrs S Kritikos) and must pay the second claimant £541.96 gross.[5]The first claimant (Mrs N J Vokes) was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent must pay damages to the first claimant of £1,958.40 (calculated as weekly pay of £163.20 for twelve weeks’ statutory minimum notice).[6]The second claimant (Mrs S Kritikos) was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent must pay damages to the second claimant of £468.90 (calculated as weekly pay of £46.89 for ten weeks’ statutory minimum notice).[7]The respondent has failed to pay the first claimant’s (Mrs N J Vokes) holiday entitlement and must pay the first claimant £282.88.[8]Both claimants were unfairly dismissed, and the compensation they are entitled to for unfair dismissal will be decided at a remedy hearing, details of which will be provided separately.
