Mr G Bal v Cordant Security Ltd: 3300550/2019
JUDGMENT
The complaint of an unpaid redundancy payment is struck out.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 29 May 2019 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of an unpaid redundancy payment should not be struck out because it it has no reasonable prospect of success.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint for unpaid redundancy payment is therefore struck out.[3]The claimant’s remaining claim(s) remains listed for hearing on 25 October 2019. The hearing length is extended to 3 hours. _____________________________ Regional Employment Judge Byrne 22 July 2019[1]The complaint of unpaid holiday pay is dismissed because the Respondent paid the sum claimed following the presentation of the claim by the Claimant, but before the hearing today.[2]The Respondent’s application for a contribution towards costs is dismissed.
