JUDGMENT
[1]The name of the Respondent shall be amended to Heath Electrical Services MK Limited (In Liquidation).[2]The claim was presented in the Watford Employment Tribunal on 8 January 2024. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[3]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £1038.96 gross.[4]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent must pay damages to the claimant of £865.80.[5]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement which was one half a day as at the date of termination of employment and must pay the claimant £86.58.[6]The respondent must pay the claimant £1991.34 in total, gross without deduction, taxable in the hands of the claimant.[7]The claimant did not have 2 years’ service and is not therefore entitled to claim unfair dismissal. His claim of unfair dismissal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction.[8]The hearing listed on 21 March 2025 is cancelled. Approved by:
