Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the South East Employment Tribunals on 10/01/2022. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. Proceeding came to the Respondent’s attention by 7 July 2022, at the latest and the Employment Tribunal have not been presented with an application to respond to the claim out of time. I also note draft response has not been sent to the Tribunal. I have decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with the rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £23,700 gross. .
