Rule 21 of Schedule 1 to the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013[1]The name of the respondent is amended to Nisa’s Hair and Beauty Limited.[2]The respondent has failed to present a response to the claim and judgment is entered in favour of the claimant as follows.[3]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £969.23.[4]The claimant was unfairly dismissed. The respondent must pay the claimant £1,577.63 as compensation for unfair dismissal.[5]The claimant’s claim for an uplift on her compensation is dismissed, as no relevant ACAS code of practice applies to a dismissal for redundancy.
