JUDGMENT
[1]The first claimant, Ms Degbo:a. suffered an unlawful deduction from wages in the sum of £4,016.26;b. her itemised pay statements did not match the payments made to her and so there was a breach of her right under section 8 Employment Rights Act 1996 (ERA) to have itemised pay statements;c. she was not provided with a statement of particulars of employment, contrary to sections 1 and 4 ERA, and a further sum of 4 weeks’ pay, calculated on the basis of 40 hours per week at £10 per hour, is awarded, amounting to a further £1,600; andd. accordingly the total sum due is £5,616.26[2]The second claimant, Mr Scarlett:a. suffered an unlawful deduction from wages in the sum of £6,720;b. his itemised pay statements did not match the payments made to him and so Case Numbers: 3202582/2021, 3202583/2021 3202647/2021, 3202648/2021 there was a breach of his right under section 8 Employment Rights Act 1996 (ERA) to have itemised pay statements;c. he was not provided with a statement of particulars of employment, contrary to sections 1 and 4 ERA, and a further sum of 4 weeks’ pay, calculated on the basis of 40 hours per week at £10 per hour, is awarded, amounting to a further £1,600; andd. accordingly the total sum due is £8,320.00
