This has been a remote hearing which has not been objected to by the parties. The form of remote hearing was by Cloud Video Platform (wholly remote). A face-to-face hearing was not held because the relevant matters could be determined in a remote hearing. Upon hearing the claimant and there being no attendance from the respondent, the claimant succeeds in his claims for a redundancy payment. Subject to any payment made from the Redundancy Payment Service, the claimant is awarded a redundancy payment of £2,100.00.
