Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The Respondent was served with these proceedings on 2 November 2019.[2]The Respondent has failed to present a Response to this claim by the deadline of 2 December or at all.[3]The Respondent made unauthorised deductions from the Claimant's wages by failing to pay her full wages for the period 29 April 2019 to 22 June 2019 inclusive.[4]The Claimant worked 129 hours during that period and was due to be paid at the rate of £7.70 per hour. She was therefore due a total of £993.30. The Claimant was paid £210 on 3 May 2019. The Claimant is therefore owed a balance of £783.30.[5]The Claimant is entitled to a payment of £783 as her outstanding wages[6]The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the gross sum of £783.00.[7]The hearing scheduled for 3 February is cancelled and you do not need to attend court on that day.
