JUDGMENT

[1]The Claimant’s claim for unlawful deduction from wages contrary to section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 succeeds.

[2]The Claimant is awarded the following amounts in accordance with s 24(1) (a) and 24(2) of the Employment Rights Act 1996: (1) The sum of £333.33 gross wages, to be paid net of any deductions for tax and national insurance; (2) The sum of £153.97 in compensation for the Claimant’s financial loss sustained as a result of the Respondent’s unlawful deduction of wages. (3) The sums awarded at (1) and (2) are payable by the Respondent to the Claimant forthwith.
