Miss D Willbourne v Ms R Skeleton: 3201005/2021

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 3201005/2021
Miss D WillbourneClaimantMs R SkeletonRespondent
Regional Employment Judge TaylorIn person for claimantResponse not received for respondentDate 21 February 2022

JUDGMENT

[1]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and[2]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant a total of £641.41 (calculated as £575.52 gross wages, and reimbursement of out of pocket expenses of £65.89).

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 7th April 2021 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of unfair dismissal should not be struck out because it has no reasonable prospect of success.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint of unfair dismissal is therefore struck out.[3]The claimant’s remaining claims remain listed for hearing on 23rd September 2021. The time estimate has been reduced to 1 hour and the hearing will now be conducted by telephone.[4]A new notice of hearing will follow shortly with the joining instructions for the hearing.
