JUDGMENT

[1]The Claimant having failed to attend or be represented at the hearing on the date and time notified to him I have considered the information available to me in the claim (ET1), the response (ET3) and the Respondents bundle of documents and heard submissions from Mr Rothwell[2]The claim for unlawful deduction of wages does not succeed and is DISMISSED.[3]I am satisfied that the Claimant signified in writing his agreement or consent to the making of the deduction and that there is a relevant provision of his employment contract which authorises the making of the deduction which was initially £500 but then reduced to £384.70 upon the making of a credit of £115.30 to the Claimant.
