JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the Claimant's wages by faling to pay the Claimant for 174 hours worked between 18 October 2019 and 4 November 2019 at the hourly rate of £8.50 gross: the toal unpaid wages owed by the Respondent is £1,479.00 gross.[2]The Claimant is awarded the sum of £108.64 under section 24(2) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 for finaical loss sustained by him which is attributable to the unlawful deduction from (failure to pay)wages.[3]The total sum awarded to the Claimant in respect of the unlawful deductions from wages is £1587.64 which is to be paid by the Respondent forthwith.
