JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the Claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the Claimant the gross sum of £576.[2]The Claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the Respondent is ordered to pay damages to the Claimant in the sum of £400.[3]The Respondent failed to provide the Claimant with written particulars of employment contrary to section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 and is therefore ordered to pay the Claimant two weeks’ pay in the sum of £960 pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Act 2002.[4]The Claimant’s claim of automatic unfair dismissal contrary to section 104 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 is not well-founded and is dismissed.[5]The Respondent’s counterclaim under the Extension of Jurisdiction Order 1994 is not well-founded and is dismissed.[6]The total of the Tribunal’s awards is £1,936.
