JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure – Rule 21 In default of the respondent presenting a Response within the relevant time limit and having regard to Rule 21 of Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013, the Judgment of the Tribunal is that: 1.1. The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages in respect of wage arrears and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of THREE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS (£3750.00) subject to any required deductions for tax and national insurance provided that the respondent remits any such amount to His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and accounts to the claimant for any such payment. 1.2. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-SIX POUNDS (£1286.00) in terms of section 38 of the Employment Act 2002 for failure to provide a written statement of employment particulars in accordance with s.1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. - 1 - Case Number: 3200548/2024
