JUDGMENT

[1]The Respondent has failed to comply with the requirements of section 188 of the Trade Union & Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. The claim for a protective award succeeds.[2]The Tribunal makes a protective award in respect of all those employees of the Respondent who worked within the Respondent’s Chief Risk Office and who were made redundant by the Respondent in the January 2017 redundancy round and who were dismissed as redundant on or after 26 April 2017 that the employer pay remuneration for the protected period which begins on 26 April 2017 and is for a period of 90 days.[3]The Recoupment Regulations apply.
