[1]It was declared that the Respondent unlawfully deducted the total sum of £125.09 from the Claimant’s wages in respect of £89.35 and £35.74 due on 1 and 29 September 2017 respectively; and the Respondent was ordered to repay that sum to the Claimant forthwith.[2]The Respondent was further ordered to pay to the Claimant the sum of £818.00 representing four weeks’ gross pay (£204.50 x 4), under section 38 of the Employment Act 2002, the Respondent having failed to comply with the duty to provide a statement of terms and conditions of employment to the Claimant in compliance with section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.
