The claimant’s claim that she was subjected to detriment by the second respondent (and through him the first respondent) because she made a protected disclosure is struck out.REASONS
[1]By an Order dated 23 March 2023, the claimant was ordered to pay a deposit of £1,000.00 by 18 April 2023 as a precondition of being able to proceed with her claim.[2]The parties made a joint application for a six-month stay in the proceedings on 16 March 2023. The application for a six-month stay was refused by Employment Judge Butler on 21 June 2023, but he granted a stay to 31 July 2023.[3]The parties were required to give an update on the progress of discussions on 18 August 2023. No application to extend the stay has been made.[4]The claimant has failed to pay the deposit ordered, so her claim is struck out.[5]The hearing fixed for 6, 7 and 8 November 2023 will not take place.
