JUDGMENT
[1]The hearing continued in the absence of the respondent under Rule 47 Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure. The Tribunal and claimant waited until 10:30am but the respondent did not attend.[2]The respondent’s name is amended to “Mrs Patricia Parker (trading as Three Kings Inn)” following the claimant providing evidence that she was employed by Mr and Mrs Parker personally (and Mr Parker being deceased).[3]The respondent’s application to extend time to file a response is refused following her non-attendance today. No response has been accepted by the Employment Tribunal and judgment may be issued.[4]Consequently, the claimant was unfairly dismissed.[5]The following award is made for unfair dismissal:a.
