Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claims were presented in the Midlands East Region of the Employment Tribunals on 25 August and 5 September 2023 respectively. The respondent has failed to present a valid response to either claim. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The Respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages.[3]The Respondent shall pay the claimant the wages deducted in the gross sum of £758.07.[4]The Respondent shall pay the claimant the further net sum of £800 as compensation for consequential financial losses incurred as a result of the unauthorized deduction from wages awarded under section 24(2) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.
