The complaint of UDL is struck out.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 16 July 2021 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of Unfair dismissal should not be struck out because the claimant has insufficient qualifying service to present a claim for unfair dismissal.[2]The claimant has replied. He wanted the claim to be kept open because he did not receive any warnings as per policy. That may be so but it does not explain why he is exempt from the requirement for 2 years’ continuous employment.[3]The claim for unfair dismissal is therefore struck out. Other claims will be heard and determined in the usual way.
