JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant £521.67 (net) in respect of an unlawful deduction of wages.[2]The Respondent is ordered to pay compensation of £924.00 (net) pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Act 2002. The Respondent has failed to provide particulars of employment as required by section 1 of Employment Rights Act 1996. The amount awarded is the “higher amount” (as defined by section 38(3) and (4) of the Employment Act 2002). The claimant’s weekly wage is assessed at £231.00 (on an average 30 hour working week x £7.70 per hour). The amount of 4 weeks’ pay is therefore £924.00. Total award: £1,445.67
