JUDGMENT
[1]The Claimant was unfairly dismissed by the Respondent. The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant compensation of £8,212 comprising a basic award of £494 and a compensatory award of £7,718.[2]The Claimant’s claim for breach of contract (four weeks’ notice pay) succeeds. The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the sum of £908.[3]The Claimant’s claim for holiday pay succeeds. The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the sum of £247, representing one week’s holiday pay.[4]The Claimant’s claim that the Respondent made an unauthorised deduction from his wages succeeds and the Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant £260 gross.[5]The Respondent is ordered to pay costs to the Claimant under Rule 75(1)(b) of the Tribunal Rules 2013 in the sum of £1200 in respect of the issue and hearing fee paid by the Claimant in these proceedings.
