JUDGMENT
[1]The claimant’s complaint of unauthorised deduction from wages (unpaid holiday pay) is well-founded and succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £419.69 in respect of unpaid holiday pay. This is a gross amount and the claimant shall be responsible for the payment of any income tax and national insurance contributions thereon.[2]Pursuant to Section 24 of the Employment Rights Act 1996, the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant compensation for losses due to the late payment of the holiday pay assessed in the sum of £22.52.
