JUDGMENT
[1]The claimant’s complaint that the respondent made deductions from her wages in contravention of section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 by failing to pay her for the period 2 April 2019 to 24 May 2019 is well founded.[2]When these proceedings were begun the respondent was in breach of its duty to the claimant under section 1(1) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[3]The respondent must pay to the claimant the following amounts:-a. £912.60, being the amount deducted from the claimant’s wages in contravention of section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996; andb. £468, being an award under section 38 of the Employment Act 2002.
