Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claimant presented a claim to the Employment Tribunal for unauthorised deduction from wages.[2]Notice of the claim was sent to the respondent on 10 June 2019. No response has been presented by the respondent.[3]The claim succeeds and the respondent is ordered to pay the sum of £1,114.50 to the claimant. This is a net sum and the respondent is responsible for the payment of any tax or national insurance thereon.[4]The hearing on 7 August 2019 is cancelled.REASONS
The time for presenting a response has expired and no valid response has been presented, and, on the information before the employment judge, the claim succeeds.
