ON LIABILITY AND REMEDY Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is as follows:[1]The claimant’s claim for the unauthorised deduction of wages pursuant to section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 is well-founded and succeeds.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant gross wages in the sum of £600.35, subject to any statutory deduction the respondent may be obliged to make.REASONS
[1]The Claimant made an application to the Employment Tribunal on 14 June 2023 claiming for unpaid wages for work done up to 13 April 2023. After reservice on the correct address for the respondent, the respondent was required to file a response by 12 September 2023.
