JUDGMENT
[1]The claim was issued in the Newcastle Employment Tribunal on the 25th May 2023.[2]The claim could not reasonably practicably be presented within the three month time limit and the claim was presented within such further period as the tribunal considers reasonable for the purposes of Section 23(4) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[3]The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time or at all.[4]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from pay contrary to Part II Employment Rights Act 1996 is well-founded.[5]The Respondent made a series of unlawful deductions from the claimant’s pay in respect of wages due between the 11th December 2022 – 31st December 2022.[6]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £715.00 deducted from pay, within 14 days.
