JUDGMENT

[1]The correct name of the respondent is City Fresh Food Services Limited.[2]The claimant’s claim of breach of contract (failure to pay notice pay) is well-founded and succeeds. The respondent shall pay the claimant £711.54, being two weeks’ pay in lieu of notice (subject to deduction of tax and National Insurance).[3]The claimant’s claim for a statutory redundancy payment is wellfounded and succeeds. The respondent shall pay the claimant 2 weeks’ pay multiplied by a factor of 1.5 = £1,067.31 (to be paid gross). Note: This has been a remote hearing. The parties did not object to the case being heard remotely. The form of remote hearing was V - video. It was not practicable to hold a face to face hearing because of the Covid19 pandemic.
