JUDGMENT
[1]The name of the respondent is amended to Alcyone Healthcare North East Ltd. Reservice of the claim is dispensed with. The respondent is deemed to have been served.[2]The claimant’s claim of unauthorised deduction of wages (failure to pay wages) is well-founded and succeeds. The respondent will pay the claimant the sum of £3,333.34 (less deductions for income tax and National Insurance) for the period 1 April 2021 to 25 April 2021.[3]The claimant’s claim of breach of contract (failure to pay notice pay) is wellfounded and succeeds. The respondent will pay the claimant the sum of £1,666.67 (less deductions for income tax and National Insurance). Note: This has been a remote hearing. The parties did not object to the case being heard remotely. It was not practicable to hold a face to face hearing because of the Covid19 pandemic.
