ON LIABILITY AND REMEDY Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is as follows:[1]The claimant’s claim for the unauthorised deduction of wages pursuant to section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 is well-founded and succeeds.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant wages in the sum of £500 gross, subject to any statutory deduction the respondent may be obliged to make.REASONS
[1]The Claimant made an application to the Employment Tribunal on 5 May 2023 claiming for unpaid wages in the sum of £500. The respondent was required to file a response by 22 June 2023.
