JUDGMENT

There being no ET3 from the respondent and no attendance by either party at today’s hearing, with no explanation for the non-attendance, I am satisfied the parties were notified of today’s hearing and the Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is as follows:[1]The claimant’s claim for the unauthorised deduction of wages contrary to section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 is well-founded and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £1865.17. This is a gross award and the claimant shall be liable to the Inland Revenue for any tax and national insurance deductions thereon.[2]Total award = £1865.17 EMPLOYMENT JUDGE ARULLENDRAN
