JUDGMENT

ON MERITS Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 Upon considering the written representation made by the claimant and there being no response from the respondent, the Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is as follows:[1]The claimant’s claim under Section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 for the unauthorised deduction of wages or unpaid holiday pay by the respondent is well-founded. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £500.00. This is a net award and the respondent shall be liable to the Inland revenue for any tax and national insurance payments thereon.[2]Total award = £500.00
