The claimant’s complaint of unfair dismissal is dismissed. The Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to hear the complaint.REASONS
[1]The claimant lacks the two-year period of service required under Section 108 Employment Rights Act 1996 to pursue a complaint of ordinary unfair dismissal. She was given the opportunity to respond to a strike out warning issued in June 2024. Her response on 25 June 2025 did not address why her claim should not be struck out on that basis nor was she able to do so today in oral submissions.
