[1]The Claimant was dismissed on 31 January 2024 by reason of redundancy.[2]The Claimant’s claim for a statutory redundancy payment succeeds and the Respondent is ordered to pay £1,923.08.[3]The Claimant’s claim for unlawful deduction from wages in respect unpaid wages is well founded and succeeds. The Respondent is ordered to pay the gross sum of £1,283.33 in respect of outstanding wages relating to January 2024. This is a gross award, and the Claimant shall be liable to the Inland Revenue for any payments of tax and national insurance thereon.[4]The total award is £3,206.41.
