[1]The claim of unlawful deduction from wages is well-founded and succeeds.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £2,586.56.[3]The claimant’s application for costs against the respondent is refused. Case Number: 2500604/2017[4]The claimant has paid fees in connection with this claim. Following the Supreme Court decision in R (on the application of Unison) v Lord Chancellor [2007] UK SC 51, in which it was decided that it was unlawful to charge these fees. HMCTS has undertaken to repay such fees. I shall draw to the attention of HMCTS that this is a case in which fees have been paid and are therefore to be refunded to the claimant. The details of repayment scheme are a matter for HMCTS.
