JUDGMENT
ON LIABILITY AND REMEDY Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is as follows:[1]The claimant’s claim for unfair the unauthorised deduction of wages pursuant to sections 13 and 23 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 is well-founded and succeeds.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant wages in the £1250.00, subject to any statutory deductions the respondent may be obliged to make.
REASONS
[1]The Claimant made an application to the Employment Tribunal on 22 March 2023 claiming unauthorised deduction of wages in the sum of £1250. The respondent was required to file a response by 11 May 2023. The respondent has failed to file a response.[2]The above Judgement has been entered on the basis of the information provided by the claimant on the ET1 form.
