JUDGMENT

ON LIABILITY AND REMEDY Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is as follows:[1]The claimant’s claim for the unauthorised deduction of wages pursuant to section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 is well-founded and succeeds.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant wages in the sum of £790, subject to any statutory deduction the respondent may be obliged to make.

REASONS

[1]The Claimant made an application to the Employment Tribunal on 6 March 2023 claiming for unpaid wages in the sum of £790. After reservice on the correct respondent, the respondent was required to file a response by 2 June 2023. The respondent has failed to file a response.[2]The above Judgement has been entered on the basis of the information provided by the claimant on the ET1 form.
