Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the wages of the claimant. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant £592.50p in respect of unpaid wages. This is a gross amount and the claimant is to account to the appropriate authorities for any income tax and employee national insurance contributions due in respect of such sum on receipt by him.[2]It is confirmed that the hearing set for 17 April 2018 is cancelled.REASONS
[1]The claimant filed a claim with the Tribunal on 17 February 2018 which was served on the respondent on 19 February 2018.[2]The respondent has failed to file a response to the claim.[3]The claimant has provided written information to the Tribunal which satisfies me that the above mentioned sum is due to him in respect of the claim advanced.
