JUDGMENT
[1]The Claimant’s claim was issued in the Newcastle Employment Tribunals on the 28th January 2023. The Respondent has failed to file a response to the claim. The Respondent did not attend the hearing. The tribunal decided that it was in the interests of justice and in accordance with Rule 2 (overriding objective) and Rule 47 (non-attendance) of the Employment Tribunal rules 2013, to proceed with the hearing.[2]In respect of the Claimant’s claim for unauthorised deductions from pay under s13 Employment Rights Act 1996, the complaint is well founded. The Respondent made unlawful deductions from the Claimant’s pay in relation to basic pay between the 1st October 2022 to the 23rd November 2022.[3]The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the sum of £3,069.26, (gross) within 14 days. 10.2 Judgment - rule 61 February Case No:2500160/23
