JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 THE TIME for presenting a response having expired and no valid response having been presented, it is the judgment of the Tribunal that:[1]The claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment. He was employed for 3 complete years, and was 38 at the date of termination of his employment. His week’s pay was £274.47 and his redundancy payment is accordingly : 3 x £274.47 £823.41 which sum the respondent is ordered to pay him.[2]The respondent made unlawful deductions from the claimant’s wages, in that it failed to pay him: £3,511.00 – accrued back pay, acknowledged as due on 31 August 2017 £1,097.91 – wages due for August 2017 £1,097.91 – wages due for September 2017 Total: £5,706.82[3]The respondent is ordered to pay the said sums to the claimant, less any tax and national insurance payments due thereon.[4]Any Hearing date is vacated . 5.9 Case No:2424042/20176 Dated: 15 May 2018 P C Holmes ACTING REGIONAL EMPLOYMENT JUDGE
