JUDGMENT

The only claim now before the Tribunal is one for a protective award, which fails and is dismissed.

REASONS

[1]Mr Soffe appeared by himself but on behalf of the other three claimants.[2]There was no appearance for the respondent. That company is in administration. Mr Soffe has the permission of the administrators to pursue this claim.[3]Unfortunately, the evidence of Mr Soffe confirms that the respondent solicitors had offices in Birkenhead, Crosby and Flint. Ten employees worked in Birkenhead, 16 in Crosby and six in Flint. At no time were 20 or more employees employed at one establishment. Consequently his claim for a protective award cannot succeed and I dismissed it. Case Nos. 2423488/2017 2423489/2017 2423490/2017 2423491/2017[4]No other claim was before the Tribunal as Mr Soffe has been paid all other payments due to him from the Redundancy Payment Service.
