Miss P Gorton v Josh Webb T/a The Consumer Compensation Service: 2420872/2017
JUDGMENT
The complaint of maternity discrimination is struck out on the ground that it is not actively pursued.REASONS
[1]By letter dated 26 January 2018 the tribunal asked the claimant to confirm whether she wished to pursue her wages claim only, or wished to have a hearing in respect of her discrimination claim.[2]The claimant replied by e-mail on 28 January 2018, stating, “I would just like to pursue the wages claims please of £700 thank you.”[3]The tribunal therefore considers that the claimant is not actively pursuing her discrimination claim and strikes it out.[4]The claimant’s complaint of unlawful deduction from wages is unaffected. That part of the claim is the subject of a separately-issued judgment.
