Miss D Hume v Whitbread Group plc: 2417629/2020
JUDGMENT
The claim is struck out.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 30 September 2021, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations in writing or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because:• The claimant failed to attend the preliminary hearing on 30 September 2021.• The claimant failed to respond to enquiries of her, or her representative, concerning the lack of attendance at the preliminary hearing.• It appeared that the claim was not being actively pursued.[2]By a letter dated 2 December 2021, the Tribunal gave the claimant a further opportunity to make representations in writing or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out.[3]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.
