JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages for the period 1 April to 31 July 2020 and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £572.89 (gross).[2]The respondent breached the claimant’s contract of employment in that, having made deductions from the claimant’s wages for the purpose of paying the claimant’s employee pension contributions into a workplace pension, it failed to pay those contributions into a workplace pension on the claimant’s behalf. Accordingly the respondent is ordered to pay damages of £220.00 (gross).[3]The claimant does not have the right to bring a claim of unfair dismissal against the respondent because she was not continuously employed for two years ending with the effective date of termination.
