JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claimant’s claims are well-founded and succeed namely:1.1 The claimant was unfairly dismissed by the respondent;1.2 The claimant is entitled to receive a statutory redundancy payment from the respondent;1.3 The respondent breached the claimant’s contract with regard to notice of termination of employment.[2]The remedy to which the claimant is entitled will be considered at a Remedy Hearing on 19 February 2019. A Notice of Hearing will be sent to the parties shortly. Employment Judge T V Ryan Date 06.02.19[1]The claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment of £786.93, notice pay of £486.94 and holiday pay of £121.74 making a total due to her from the respondent of £1,395.61.[2]I order that the respondent pays that sum to the claimant forthwith.[3]As the business ceased on the day that the claimant lost her job no further award can be paid for unfair dismissal.[4]No further order or Judgment need be made.
