JUDGMENT

[1]The claims of breach of contract, unpaid wages and unpaid untaken annual leave are well founded and succeed.[2]The respondent dismissed the claimant in breach of contract and is ordered to pay her 1 week’s gross pay amounting to three hundred and ninety pounds and ninety six pence.[3]There was an unlawful deduction from the claimant’s wages in the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds covering the period of August 2018. The respondent is ordered to pay this sum to the claimant.[4]At the date of termination of her employment the claimant had accrued 9 days of annual leave for which she is entitled to be paid the sum of five hundred and fifty seven pounds and ninety three pence Calculation The above figures were calculated on the basis of the claimant’s hourly rate of pay at £7.38. The claimant worked an average of 42 hours a week. She began work on 2 May 2018 and finished on 7 September 2018. All monies are to be paid to the claimant gross of deductions. The claimant will be responsible for paying her own tax and national insurance on the sums awarded to her.
