JUDGMENT
[1]By consent, the claimant was entitled to be paid a statutory redundancy payment in the sum of £1,200.[2]The complaint of unauthorised deduction from wages in respect of arrears of pay is not well founded.[3]The complaint of unauthorised deduction from wages in respect of holiday pay is not well founded.[4]The respondent was in breach of contract by not giving the claimant one month’s notice of termination of employment. No award of damages is made since the claimant has received payments exceeding the payment which would have been made.[5]The complaint of unfair dismissal is well founded and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £1569.78.[6]The Recoupment Regulations do not apply to the award of compensation for unfair dismissal.
