Mr K Robinson v Lloyds Bank plc: 2414996/2018
JUDGMENT
[1]The claimant's claim of unfair dismissal is not well-founded and is dismissed.[2]The claimant's claim that the respondent paid him less than he was contractually entitled to be paid in the period from 6 to 20 November 2017 is wellfounded and succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £142.10, representing the claimant's unpaid salary for the period between 6 and 20 November 2017.[3]The respondent is found to have failed to notify the claimant, within one month, of a change in his terms of employment contract, specifically that a change to his working hours had been made with effect from 20 November 2017. The claimant, having succeeded in his claim that the respondent breached his contract of employment between 6 and 20 November 2017, is awarded an additional two weeks’ pay pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Relations Act 2002 in consequence this failure to notify. The respondent is therefore ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £568.40 as compensation, representing two weeks’ pay.
