[1]The claimant’s claim of unfair dismissal succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant a basic award of £1,442.28. The Tribunal makes no compensatory award.[2]The claimant’s claim of direct discrimination (s. 13 Equality Act 2010) on grounds of race and/or on grounds of religion or belief fails and is dismissed.[3]The claimant’s claim of victimisation (s. 27 Equality Act 2010) on grounds of race and/or on grounds of religion or belief fails and is dismissed.[4]The claimant’s claim of unauthorised deductions from wages/breach of contract (commission payments) succeeds in part. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £550.00.
